Summer ExhibitionWe had our annual exhibition in the Town Hall during Carnival Day on June 21st. This was a great success with a huge variety of members' pictures

If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first. NewcomersWe always welcome newcomers at the start of the season or at any time. if you are hesitating why not come along to our next meeting. Let us know in advance and we will be sure to give you a friendly welcome Monthly competitionsDo come along anyway as there are plenty who just enjoy the social aspects of meeting fellow enthusiasts. However we also run monthly competitions for colour prints, black and white prints, and colour slides. We end the year with competitions for the best prints- and we have an award for the best newcomer!. Prints (mounted) must be handed in one week before the competition. Digital files should be emailed as jpegs sized 1024 (width) x 768 (height) pixels (XGA) by the Sunday night before the competition to wpc.comp@yahoo.co.uk The file naming format for these files is name.title.jpg For a fuller description of the competitions, and the competition rules, please click here to see a summary in Adobe Acrobat Reader format, compatible with all versions of Adobe Reader from 5 onwards. If you do not already have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader, the latest version can be obtained from this page on the Adobe web site. Digital ProjectorWe have the latest "state of the art" digital projector, laptop, and software, thanks to the "Awards for All" scheme funded by the National Lottery. We will be able to show on the big screen all those pictures taken by members with digital cameras ThanksWe would like to thank Waitrose for their financial assistance and Wallingford Tea and Coffee for their provision of tea.
